Finance Organizations to be Unified

TEHRAN Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Hossein Namazi announced that the Tehran Finance Organizations will be unified in the near future.

A number of Tehran MPs in the Majlis and the Tehran governor general have asked the minister to make all governmental accounts available on line for concerned officials.

Beet Root Price Increases

TEHRAN The Managing Director of the Dezful Sugar Firm, Ali Ashtari, announced that beet root will be purchased from farmers at 70,000 rials per ton this year, an increase of 20,000 rials compared to last year.

Globalization Causes Development of Trade

TEHRAN In order to end the economic recession, supply should be kept higher than demand so international markets are attracted to domestically produced goods, said Iranian economist Hassan Sobhani.

Iran, Thailand, China to Build Satellite

After a long delay, the implementation of a project to manufacture a multi-purpose satellite to be shared by Iran, Thailand, and China will start this year.

According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, the Bangkok-based English language newspaper **** Nation **** wrote that the satellite construction project was originally scheduled to be carried out last year.
